240 West Broadway before work began, the site is now active

At the northern end of Tribeca two new nine-story condominiums are under construction. The first, 240 West Broadway, is rising quickly, its superstructure erection slated for mid-September completion. Façade work will follow through the end of the year in time for its first tenants in spring 2011. Meanwhile at 471 Washington Street, foundation work continues through mid-August, with superstructure work to be followed by façade installation through February 2011. Its opening date is slated for September 2011. Contractor Foundations Group is developing both projects.
