Peck Slip Closure from Water to Front Streets

Peck Slip's cobblestone roadway will be restored upon project completion
Peck Slip's cobblestone roadway will be restored upon project completion

Starting Monday, April 16th, the south side of Peck Slip between Water and Front Street will be closed for capital reconstruction for approximately eight weeks, through mid-June 2012. City Department of Design and Construction crews will replace vital utilities, and rebuild the sidewalks, curbs and cobblestone street. Crews will work normal weekday hours from 7 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. Parking will be prohibited in this area, but pedestrian and business access will be maintained at all times.

This section of work will tie into the utility upgrades that are underway on Peck Slip between Front and South Streets, and on Water Street at Peck Slip.

Questions and comments about the project can be addressed to DDC Community Liaison Amelia Ramos at (212) 233-7184 or peckslipccl@gmail.com.
