The bridge is scheduled to be closed at 7:30 pm on Friday, October 30

As the Port Authority continues excavating the South Bathtub, its crews will close the Liberty Street walkway this weekend. The closure, between Church and West Street (including the Liberty Street Pedestrian Bridge), is planned to start the evening of Friday, November 7th and end by Monday, November 8th. By closing the walkway, crews are able to continue slurry wall installation and other work needed to excavate the future Vehicular Security Center site.
