Beach Street will be closed for a weekend crane lift

A planned crane operation at 250 West Broadway will fully close Beach Street between West Broadway and Varick Street this weekend. The closure will be in place Saturday, December 15th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, December 16th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Traffic will be detoured to the north side of the triangle at West Broadway and Beach Street. The road closure is approved by the city Department of Transportation.
