55 Worth Street repair work began in May 2012

New York Law School began repair work in May on its building at 55 Worth Street, at the northwest corner of Church Street. The work includes rehabilitation of the structures foundation, which has been affected by the empty lot at 56 Leonard Street, where development has been on hold since early 2009. Contractor Red Hook Construction will repair masonry and windows on the Law School building during normal weekday hours, while maintaining a travel lane on Worth Street. The project is slated for completion in August 2012.
