254 Front Street Construction Wraps Up

254 Front Street was completed in early summer 2012
254 Front Street was completed in early summer 2012

This month, the new eight-story condominium at 254 Front Street earned its certificate of occupancy, and will be welcoming new tenants through the summer. The 40-unit luxury building, designed by New York-based Morris Adjmi Architects, has been under construction since 2009. With oversized mahogany window frames and a brick and zinc facade, the building was designed to fit into the Seaport historic district's architectural style. It faces the west ramp of the Brooklyn Bridge, which is currently undergoing repairs. The new building also has coordinated its sidewalk and curb restoration with the citys Peck Slip Reconstruction project.
