24 John Street intermittent weekday road closures continue

Construction of the new hotel at 24 John Street continues, and this week the project requires intermittent full closures of John Street, between Broadway and Nassau. The closures will take place on weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., in coordination with other projects in the area. The next closures are expected to occur for concrete pump operations from December 31st to January 4th, with more to be scheduled through early 2013.

The 24 John renovation project involves adding 15 floors to the existing six-story structure, which will be renovated as a 90-room hotel. It is expected to open approximately early 2014.
