254 Front Street was completed in summer 2012
254 Front Street was completed in summer 2012
A new residential tower is now open at 254 Front Street, just south of the Brooklyn Bridge at Dover Street. Apollo Construction began work on the eight-story, 25,000 square-foot in 2009, with tenants moving in in summer 2012.

Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, the building has details that help link it to the South Street Seaport Historic District, such as large, mahogany windows and materials that mimic the neighborhoods common brick work. A retail/restaurant space at street level will be surrounded by steel and glass awnings, suspended by cables in homage to the adjacent Brooklyn Bridge, reads the architects website.
