Oversize Commercial Vehicles
The New York City Department of Transportation resumed
issuing daytime overdimensional truck permits citywide
on July 15, 2002. The requirements for daytime overdimensional
travel are the same as were in effect prior to September
11, 2001, as follows:

Construction and Parking Permits
Construction permits for all boroughs can be obtained at DOT offices at 220 Church Street, ground floor, from 8 to 11:30 a.m., Mondays through Fridays. The temporary Brooklyn office at 248 Duffield Street is now closed. The telephone number for the 220 Church Street office is (212) 442-7954.
